ENVISION BUILDING PRODUCTS ENTERS DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH HAWKEYE DISTRIBUTION

JOPLIN, MISSOURI – March 23, 2021 – Envision Building Products LLC, a leading manufacturer of composite decking and railing products, announces a distribution agreement with Hawkeye Distribution, LLC. Based in Sioux City, Iowa, Hawkeye will distribute Envision composite decking to dealers throughout Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Minnesota.

ENVISION BUILDING PRODUCTS ADDS PRO PLUG® HIDDEN FASTENING SYSTEM

LAMAR, MISSOURI – March 2, 2021 – Envision Building Products, manufacturer of high-quality decking, railing, and fastening products, now offers the Pro Plug^® Hidden Fastening System for use with all full-profile deck boards and colors. Made by Starborn, Pro Plug allows installers to face-fasten deck boards while eliminating visible screw heads and holes. When used in combination with Envision’s EverClip Hidden Fastener, the Pro Plug System is an ideal solution for achieving a fully hidden and securely fastened deck.

The Pro Plug System consists of three components: epoxy-coated carbon steel screws or stainless steel screws; a patented PVC/Composite tool that attaches to a standard drill/driver to drive screws to the correct depth without overdriving or stripping the screw; and plugs made with Envision’s decking material for a perfect match to the deck boards. Drive the screw in a straight and stable fashion with a standard drill until the Auto-Stop™ mechanism fully engages, then insert the plug into the hole above the fastener and tap into place with a smooth-face hammer. The result is a seamless surface for a smooth appearance and feel.

Envision Building Products acquires Fairway Architectural Railing Solutions

LAMAR, MISSOURI – January 4, 2021 – Envision Building Products LLC, headquartered in Lamar, Missouri, is pleased to announce its acquisition of Fairway Architectural Railing Solutions. Fairway is a recognized leader in the railing category and its products are a great complement to Envision’s exceptional composite decking.

ENVISION BUILDING PRODUCTS NAMES SHARA GAMBLE AS VICE PRESIDENT SALES & MARKETING

JOPLIN, MISSOURI – December 22, 2020 – Shara Gamble has been promoted to Vice President Sales and Marketing at Envision Building Products corporate headquarters in Lamar, Missouri.

In this new position, Gamble is responsible for leading Envision’s overall sales and marketing strategy and product development initiatives and will report to TAMKO Chairman and CEO David Humphreys.

“Shara’s leadership of Envision sales and marketing has led to new products and exciting overall growth for Envision,” said David Humphreys, President of Envision Building Products. “We are pleased to have Shara in this new role and look forward to the impact her leadership will continue to make on her team and the Envision brand.”

Under Gamble’s leadership, the Envision brand has continued to grow, solidifying itself as a major brand in composite decking and separating from its parent company, TAMKO Building Products LLC, in 2019. Prior to her leadership with Envision, Gamble held several positions at TAMKO since joining in 2006, including Director of Human Resources and Operations Process and Project Director.

Gamble was recognized as an honoree for the Joplin Regional Business Journal’s “Fifteen Under 40” in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree with a dual major in Accounting and Management from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin and has earned several professional certifications including SHRM-CP and PHR.

He’s sometimes called the rocket scientist who builds decks, but Florida deckbuilder Robin Lopez’s unlikely background could make him the posterboy for the future of the skilled trades industry.

Growing up, Lopez realized he loved making things with his hands. By age 12, he had a small business building skim boards and selling them to his friends. But, as a young adult, Lopez figured he should go to college and pursue a high-tech degree. He spent years in a vault as an aerospace engineer designing top secret propulsion systems. He was living his career dreams. There was just one problem: he wasn’t really happy.

“I sat in a windowless room all day – I didn’t know if it was a beautiful day in Florida or not,” Lopez said. “And I couldn’t talk with anyone about my work. No one ever saw what I did.”
